Travel One Portugal has just been awarded the Silver Medal of Tourist Merit of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. On 27th September, 2018, the president of the Regional Government of Madeira, Miguel Albuquerque, presented the prestigious award to the representatives of Travel One Portugal, in an initiative which was integrated in the celebrations of World Tourism Day.
The Tourism Merit Awards are awarded annually by the Regional Government of Madeira on World Tourism Day to distinguish not only personalities and institutions for their valuable contribution to the tourism industry, but also all those who have played a valuable role in giving their best efforts, as well as those who continue to work in the tourism sector, thereby contributing to the success of Madeira as a tourist destination.
This recognition of Merit reinforces and confirms the quality of the excellent services rendered and the prestige of Travel One Portugal to its business partners and employees who contribute to the success of the company and the destination every day.
This reward is the climax of an 18-year-old journey, in which the company has worked in favour of Tourism and all those who visit Madeira.
