Travel One Portugal has just obtained the label “TURISMO DE NATUREZA” (Nature Tourism); a recognition of Tourism of Portugal with the competence of attribution by the Institute of Nature and Forests Conservation. The exercise of tourist animation activities, such as nature tourism, because they are carried out in classified areas or areas with natural values of the National System of Classified Areas, as well as hiking, mountaineering, discovery of ethnographic heritage, a.s.o., it is mandatory to recognize tourist animation activities as Nature Tourism in the territory covered by the National Network of Protected Areas.
The recognition of Tourism Animation Agents, such as Nature Tourism, functions as a “seal” of good environmental practices and code of conduct, to which companies formally added to the use of a logo indicative of this specificity. The adhering to this Code of Conduct implies full compliance with a set of regulations related to corporate responsibility and good environmental practices, in the context of the exercise of its activity.
